You’ve decided to take your learning to the next level, that you need something more substantial than just reading my blog for nuggets of information and culinary wonders?

Well, you’ve come to the right page!

Now, it’s up to you… Have a look below and pick what you fancy. There’s even a cheap and cheerful booklet that’ll make you giggle… while you learn. Although it might still look pretty plain, I am working behind the scenes to bring out products that can help you on your Italian journey…

They won’t be at all comprehensive or exclusive. You might find some of my products are extremely useful and others utterly useless. Then, rely on other teachers for my shortcomings. Try everything, try different solutions, try different approaches.

The goal is that you learn. The way you achieve that is negotiable.

30 Ways into Languages

30 ways to introduce language learning into your daily  life. Try them out with Italian… or any other language.

Maybe this has happened to you, too…

I remember my attempts at Japanese learning, one of the first language courses I took when I moved to London (we’re talking Middle-Ages here). It was the most amazing class, a lot of fun; we all gelled. The teacher was great. Initially, learning was very smooth, but when we got to more complex grammatical notions – Ouch! Everything was a piece of cake during the 2 hours spent in the classroom.

“Yes, I get it. Yup, I will remember that”, but by the following week… it was just gone.

How was that possible? The thing is, between weekly classes, I wasn’t doing any work to keep it up. I hardly ever did my homework, and when I did, it was done in 10 minutes, often while on my way to class. Grappling with a new job and a new life, I felt the week went by at a fast pace, leaving me with no time to improve my Japanese. Like most people, I’m sure you struggle with time!

But what if you didn’t really need that much time every day to consolidate your learning or if you were simply after a shortcut to learn, while having fun?

When I was learning Japanese, I didn’t think about breaking it down in short sessions. If I had, I would be fluent by now… well, almost! The thought of investing one or two hours per stretch to practice was daunting and stopped me from even opening my book, let alone doing some actual work. But the truth is you can learn in different ways.

Think about a 7-minute workout… Yes, 7 minutes!… but for the mind.

So, why don’t you try a new approach – implementing  bouts of language learning in your daily routine? Ways into languages can help you do just that!

30 ways to add languages into your everyday life. Try one a day for a month!
